MUBIL Brings the Trends Transforming Transport Closer to the Basque Mobility Ecosystem
The mission to IAA Transportation 2026 gave seven companies first-hand insight into international developments in heavy-duty vehicles, digitalization, connectivity and artificial intelligence.
MUBIL has completed its participation in IAA Transportation 2026 in Hannover, together with seven companies from the Basque smart and sustainable mobility ecosystem, as part of a business mission organized in collaboration with the Gipuzkoa Chamber of Commerce (Cámara de Gipuzkoa) through its Professional Dynamics program.
The visit offered a close-up view of the technological developments shaping the transport sector. The main trends observed included the strong presence of heavy-duty vehicles, particularly trucks, as well as significant advances in sensor technologies, artificial intelligence, software, connectivity and autonomous driving.
The wide range of technologies on display was particularly valuable for a delegation of companies with diverse profiles, spanning vehicle technologies, software and connectivity. Biotz, EVsare, Elay Group, NX Technologies, Gertek, Masermic and Cauchopren were able to identify technologies, solutions and companies relevant to their respective fields, while gaining a broader understanding of how the transport sector is evolving globally.
This mission is part of MUBIL's Professional Dynamics program, which has been running since 2021 to strengthen the Basque smart and sustainable mobility ecosystem by giving companies access to international knowledge and trends, while fostering new connections and opportunities for collaboration.
