BIRTH OF THE MUBIL STRATEGY
Within the framework of Etorkizuna Eraikiz of Gipuzkoa Provincial Council and as part of the smart specialisation strategy, RIS-3, led by the Basque Government
2019
CREATION OF MUBIL FUNDAZIOA
Constitution of the foundation and approval of statutes of the territory’s commitment to smart and sustainable mobility
2021
INAUGURATION OF MUBIL CENTER IN TOLOSA
The provisional headquarters are opened in Tolosa, with 2,500 m2 of testing facilities and laboratories.
2022
START OF WORKS FOR THE MUBIL CENTER IN ZUBIETA
Construction starts in Zubieta of the MUBIL Center, where it will house 10,000 m2 of testing facilities and laboratories with cutting-edge technology.

AGREEMENT WITH THE BASQUE ENERGY ENTITY - EVE
MUBIL and the Basque Energy Entity - EVE sign a collaboration agreement with the aim of strengthening the MUBIL strategy as a smart and sustainable mobility hub, and to promote this field in the Basque Country.

PRESENTATION OF THE FIRST PHASE OF THE MUBIL HUB INITIATIVES IN ZUBIETA
The first initiatives that will be part of the MUBIL Hub in Zubieta are presented: two CIDETEC and TECNALIA infrastructures, and a project together with CEIT.
2023
CITY SCIENCE LAB GIPUZKOA IN COLLABORATION WITH MIT MEDIA LAB
Collaboration agreement with MIT Media Lab City Science, the City Science Lab Gipuzkoa is created, which will make the territory an innovation laboratory to launch mobility projects.

SECOND PHASE OF MUBIL HUB INITIATIVES IN ZUBIETA
Announcement of a new space destined for Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) managed by the VICOMTECH technology centre.
ENERO 2024
LAUNCH OF THE MUBIL CENTER
The launch of the definitive headquarters of MUBIL Center is planned for January 2024.
