MUBIL brings together the efforts of public and private agents that promote initiatives in the field of smart and sustainable mobility in the Basque Country, with the aim that Gipuzkoa and the Basque Country become a relevant actor in the field of smart and sustainable mobility.

We work with a strategic vision to foster the capabilities of all the agents that are part of MUBIL. And we do so through 5 main lines of action.
We equip the ecosystem with a cutting-edge technological infrastructure that enables companies and research centres to carry out ambitious projects.

We are promoting a large testing facility in the Basque Country, that makes it possible to test, in a real environment, the solutions developed by our organisations.
MUBIL HUB IN ZUBIETA
The MUBIL Center will have its headquarters in Zubieta starting in January 2024. A space that will be shared with other MUBIL Hub projects related to smart and sustainable mobility.

MUBIL joins ELEK BIDEA Technical Committee to accelerate heavy-duty transport decarbonisation
MUBIL's General Manager, César Gutiérrez, has joined the Technical Committee of ELEK BIDEA, a cross-border French-Spanish initiative aimed at accelerating the decarbonisation of heavy-duty road transport. The project seeks to establish a cross-border living lab connecting Nouvelle-Aquitaine, the Basque Country and Navarre.

MUBIL Mobility Awards break participation record and strengthen their international reach
The deadline for entries for the sixth edition of the MUBIL Mobility Awards has now closed, with 65 projects submitted. This is the highest number since the awards were established, representing a 6.5 per cent increase on the previous edition.

Cybersecurity: A New Competitive Advantage for Sustainable Mobility
MUBIL and ZIUR recently hosted an event at MUBIL Center to examine the impact of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), the new European regulation that will establish cybersecurity requirements for connected products. The event brought together nearly 50 companies and industry stakeholders from the mobility and automotive sectors.
