MUBIL brings together the efforts of public and private agents that promote initiatives in the field of smart and sustainable mobility in the Basque Country, with the aim that Gipuzkoa and the Basque Country become a relevant actor in the field of smart and sustainable mobility.

We work with a strategic vision to foster the capabilities of all the agents that are part of MUBIL. And we do so through 5 main lines of action.

We equip the ecosystem with a cutting-edge technological infrastructure that enables companies and research centres to carry out ambitious projects.

MUBIL HUB IN ZUBIETA
The MUBIL Center will have its headquarters in Zubieta starting in January 2024. A space that will be shared with other MUBIL Hub projects related to smart and sustainable mobility.

The event brought together companies, professionals, and key industry stakeholders to promote new strategic partnerships and drive forward advanced mobility solutions. It also offered a unique opportunity to explore the cutting-edge capabilities of MUBIL’s three specialized laboratories, dedicated to the development, validation, and certification of advanced propulsion systems for sustainable mobility.

5th Edition of the MUBIL Mobility Awards: Call for Applications Now Open
The call for applications for the 2025 MUBIL Mobility Awards is now open as of May 7. These awards, now in their fifth edition, recognise the most innovative projects in the field of smart and sustainable mobility. The application period will remain open until June 20.

Their Revolutionary Battery Innovations Propel Italian Novac and Gipuzkoan Battbelt to Victory in the MUBIL Mobility Awards
The startup Novac, from Italy, has won the 12,500 euros first prize, ahead of Battbelt, from Guipuzcoa, which has won the 4,000 euros for second place. Both projects have also won an additional 18,500 euros in funding for the development of their projects in collaboration with agents in the Basque Country and will become part of the MUBIL Hub. In addition, they will have a work space for 12 months, as well as the opportunity to have their own stand at MUBIL Mobility Expo, the professional meeting point for the sustainable mobility industry, in its 2026 edition.
